JOYFEST STREET PARADE What Joy! Many people from different churches and groups met at Cost-U-Less supermarket car park, St Croix on Sunday afternoon and paraded to the Island Center (about 2.5 miles). Following the well-decorated JoyFest Parade Trailer that was blasting joyful gospel music, the colorful paraders sang, danced and waved their banners along the route. Some onlookers joined the parade - one lady ran out of her restaurant in her apron and gloves praising the Lord. She joined in for a few minutes then ran back to her restaurant again! FINAL CONCERT After the Parade to the Island Center, there was a Final Fantastic Concert to close the JoyFest Weekend! It featured praise and worship with Victorious Believers Youth Band and Ayodele, Papa Das, Burning Chariots, St Peter's Episcopal choir, Bernard Smith, Masked Soldiers of Christ Dancers, St Peter's Youth Dancers, and 4th Dimension! |
